We are all different...

The other day Grace told Matt something along these lines:

"Dad, lots of people have different color skin, but that's okay because we can all still be friends." Then she got down next to Claira and put her tanned little arm next to Claira's very fair, almost pasty white little arm and said "See Claira and me have different colors of skin, but I still love her."

Oh such wisdom from our soon-to-be-five-year old! Out of the mouths of babes!
Grace is all ready for school pictures in this photo. She looked STUNNING!

The first of many school pictures to come. Wait for the awkward years. We all have them and look back on the pictures fondly. OK maybe not fondly. You know lost teeth, BIG teeth growing in, glasses, the first SELF haircut, braces, doing your own hair. She will be able to look back and say "at least my mom cared when I was in Kindergarten."

Cute curls, great skin, can I just say that Grace is already knocking them dead. Just wait until she is a teenager, she is georgous!
